I don't believe that he is on death row. I believe his sentence was commuted as he has a max out date of 2024 and his record shows he has been involved in a construction program (one of the most highly coveted jobs in the prison system). If he gets out in 2024, he will be 43 years old. That is how old my father was when I was born, so he will still be able to lead a long life on the outside. With a vocational degree and construction experience he may lead a very rich life, or he could go on to kill other innocent hardworking people and destroy the lives of their friends and families like he did in Pizza Hut. He should be fated to live in that concrete box until the end of his days. While the state has no right to execute anyone, he should never be able to swim in a river or hike in the sun just as his victims can't.
